Electic and Creative Vintage Jewellery Design

A Product designer to trade by background, Louise used her degree in Industrial Design to produce her own range of electic and creative  tiaras, headbands and jewellery in Sept 2009. Louise focuses on vintage inspired pieces with a twist. Her work is renowned for being more than just a wear once accessory. In fact many of her designs can be converted into a brooch and worn again.

Spring/Summer 2011 collection

Wedding and Baby was  shortlisted in The Bridal Magazine Awards for Best Accessory supplier of the year 2010. Her designs  have also gained popularity with  X-Factor contestants, which resulted in her designs being worn to the premiere of Shrek 3D in June 2010. The current Spring/Summer 2011 collection is causing a stir with the media. As always Vintage is the essence of the collection, although this season sees more fabric and feathers. Look out for Louise’s designs in bridal magazines and wedding TV programmes throughout 2011!

One to One Consultation

What makes Wedding and Baby so unique, is that Louise will work one on one with the bride to create a headpiece that will not only suit the bride, but also the dress and the ceremony.

Cuddles are a regular occurrence from brides who are blown away by their breath taking bridal accessories! What’s more Louise keeps in touch with most brides long after the big day and is always delighted to see the baby photos that follow!

Wedding and Baby’s designs are now available to try on in selected bridal boutiques throughout the country, with an increasing number of stockists eager to stock her designs.

Advice for Brides Commissioning a piece of Bespoke Jewellery

Louise also shares with us today, her advice for any brides thinking about commissioning a bespoke vintage piece of jewellery for their wedding.

When having a bespoke item made for your wedding, make sure you select a person you have built up a rapport with. This will build your trust and ensure that they create your dream. Try and pick your dress first. However, if you fall in love with hair accessories before choosing your dress, most accessory suppliers will accomodate your needs. We have had many brides who have fallen in love with one of our designs.
